It's been an epic summer and I don't want it to end. I didn't even realize that it was the beginning of fall this past weekend, primarily because it still feels like summer around here. The weather has been absolutely perfect and even warm into the night which is unusual for Southern California.
Although I haven't been taking full advantage, it's still beach and pool weather. I'm hoping it lasts, I'm not ready for the cold yet. And yes, cold here in San Diego is like 60 degrees so I know I shouldn't be complaining. I fully admit I'm a wuss. I'll straight wear a scarf in 60 degree weather, don't tempt me.
This summer has been awesome though in many ways so that's why I'm kind of sad it's over. First the obvious, I got married and we pretty much had the wedding of our dreams so that was epic. My family came out from all over the country, some I haven't seen in years and it was great to be with them. I'm also working the job of my dreams, doing blogging down at Rancho La Puerta. It's just been a really fun summer, what can I say. It will be one of those times of my life that I will always remember and those are few and far between.
Of course, what is a good summer without memorable music? I discovered some new artists that I just fell in love with. Below are some of the most played songs that I've been listening to this past summer. No, it's not all new music by any means (newer, yes). I have some of my favorite older artists in there as well. Honestly, if you really want to get a feel of what my summer was like, well...listen to this playlist.
xoxo...Kate
