Here are some favorites from the new magazines I got this week! First, I luv Elle Decor. I'm in awe of the talent they find for this magazine and I'm constantly inspired. Stylist Jackie Astier is featured in this issue. Below are two examples of her amazing New York apartment...so jealous!
I love, love, love her bedroom. The ikat pillows and the headboard are amazing.
Nylon is probably my favorite fashion magazine right now. It's forever young and I like how much emphasis they put on music and film...broadens the scope besides just reading about style.

I was so excited to read their article on Turkey! I lived in Turkey for three months when I was 22 and it forever changed my life. The people were so nice and it was so important to experience in some ways a completely different culture. In other ways, our cultures a very alike. It's a beautiful thing to see the common ground between two different cultures and experience the differences as well. I will definitely going back there some day.
My aunt was nice enough to order a subscription of Saveur for Athan and I. I love this magazine...the photos of the food always make me want to cook.

Hope you all had a good weekend. Unfortunately, I was super bummed that the Patriots lost the Super Bowl. I am a die-hard fan! All in all though, had a great time with friends :) There's always next year!
