We're in the process of creating our registry which has actually been really fun. Picking out the fine china and dinnerware has been my favorite and I'm having a hard time narrowing it down. I definitely want something elegant, but at the same time different...it's really hard to decide! Here are five of my final choices...
Above is actually what we chose for our fine china. It's by Vera Wang and I love it! It's so elegant and when the light hits the gold weave, it's gorgeous!
I saw this amazing pattern when I was at Neiman Marcus with my mom. This is the Syracuse set by Haviland. It's so beautiful in person, I can't even tell you! It's actually hand painted gold. This set is way out of our price range, but we're going to put their oval platter on our registry. I think that will satisfy me!
This is my top choice for our casual dinnerware. The photo doesn't do it justice, but it is absolutely elegant and beautiful. It's the Apilco Aqua set from Williams Sonoma.
Now, normally I wouldn't go for something this bright, but the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. It definitely has a very retro vibe to it which makes sense because it's by Jonathan Adler. Plus, I know Athan would love it because he's Greek ;)
What draws me to this one is the color (turquoise is my favorite). It's simple, but completely different from our china. This set is from Target.
So as you can see, I have some very hard decisions to make! I love the white dishes from Williams Sonoma, but a splash of color would be nice too...what do you think?
xoxo...Kate
