I'm in the initial stages of planning our wedding, but I'm so happy we have our wedding venue already set. It's one of my favorite places here in San Diego, it is so beautiful. I visited there today to take some photos and I just love how peaceful it is. The venue is Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad. It's an old spanish style adobe ranch which was once owned by Leo Carrillo, an actor from the old 50s' show, Cisco Kid. This was his vacation home and he used to host parties there.
It really is a magical place. I can't wait to decorate it for the wedding and see it at night when it's all lit with candles. And to top it off, there are wild peacocks roaming the grounds. So pretty!
